The mansion is open to the public for guided tours of all four floors and the estate. Average time: 90-minutes; $5 per person. We start tours as groups arrive.

This year’s Architectural Tour features 6 homes & businesses in Eastern Niagara County: 2 sites each in the Towns of Somerset, Newfane (including The Van Horn Mansion!) and Wilson. We're welcoming staff from The Forsyth Tavern who will share their knowledge of what life was like for the few who lived in this area at the birth of the U.S., including the many challenges and hardships they faced to survive in what was once wilderness. Colonial-era refreshments will be served.

The Six Nations (or Iroquois Confederacy) was a democratic government comprised of six Native American nations that pre-dates the United States Constitution. Join artist Geoffrey Harding as he shows their impact on Fort Niagara in the 18th century. Colonial-era refreshments will be served.
